Student Support at LUC

This is a reminder about some of the resources in place at LUC to help students.

Tutoring

A number of high demand classes offer either group tutoring and/or supplemental instruction review sessions led by student peers. These sessions are primarily at the Sullivan Center, but also happen at Crown, St Joseph's, and online. Please remind students of this opportunity, the details of which (including available subjects and schedules) can be found on the website at https://www.luc.edu/tutoring/index.shtml
Writing Center
Students who may benefit from assistance with proofreading, editing, and revising their papers can utilize the writing center at Information Commons. Students can schedule an appointment with a peer leader, or access one of the many resources located at https://www.luc.edu/writing/
Success Coaching
Success Coaching offers personalized support to help students develop skills such as organization, time management, notetaking, and exam preparation. In a FREE meeting, either over Zoom or in person, students can work with a Success Coach 1:1 to set goals, identify areas for growth, and create a customized plan for success. This program empowers students to cultivate positive habits that contribute to their overall success at college. More information is available at https://www.luc.edu/tutoring/ourservices/successcoaching/
